Help Please

Recently my mic starting acting up, I fixed it but I think its my sound card, or the sound thing on my computer, I don't know how to fix it, if someone can help me please do so. I tried looking it up as well but they weren't videos on how to fix it. This has happened before and I fixed i but I forgot how to.
