Sounds like an issue with the minecraft servers. Just wait a while and it should get fixed.

Guys It's just the minecraft login servers, it happens all the time be patient.

no when i login then its says cant connect to minecraft.net

the login servers got overloaded, the staff is trying very hard to fix it.

All they have to do to the login server is turn it off and back on again and Bingo!!
