Help a noob today.

I've played Minecraft for ages, but only on single player, and the only time I play multiplayer is on Xbox.

So how do i join a survival games server?

Please be rather specific.

Click the 'Multiplayer' button then click 'Direct Connect' followed by typing, depending on your region, us/ca/eu/au then the server you want to join (server numbers can be found in the 'servers' tab on this website) followed by .mcsg.in (eg. us30.mcsg.in).

You have to be quick though. There are many players that wants to join aswell. The servers are filling up pretty quick, but not always

Yeah! The servers are reallly empty early in the morning!

"No problem! First you would need to add some of the mcsg servers to your minecraft server list (Servers are located under the servers tab on the top of the forums page), since you are a non-donor, you may want to add higher number servers from whatever area you live in (us, eu, au, ca) because not many donors play there. You'll want to try to get into servers that say "lobby" in their description, the lobby is where you vote for your favorite map and wait to get into the game (please try avoiding playing survival games 4 and breeze island, as they are overplayed and people get addicted to, thus making these servers boring). There is a possibility to be kicked from the server by a "higher rank", this means that a donor or a member of staff are trying to join the server while it is full, kicking the last suitable player who joined. You can become a donor by donating on the forums, which will give you a rank for 1-3 months, depending on how much is donated. Hope this helped you a bit, but next time you have questions, use the search box, you will usually find an answer. Have fun on mcsg!"
