[Guide] PvP Tips and Trick's and Tactic's!

Hello everyone!
I decided to make this thread due to a lot of beginners to the MCSG server's.
What this thread will do is help you play and win SG. And stride to become the best.

Sword:

• • Critical hits:

These are one of the most helpful tactic to kill someone. With critical hits, it does an extra damage when attacking someone. If you don't know how to use critical hits, all you have to do is jump while attacking you're opponent. On resource packs, you can customize the particle's you get when doing it.

• Strafing:

Strafing is probably one of the most well known tactic's to perform in SG. With strafing, you can doge arrows, and fishing rods. There are many ways to strafe such as, pressing A+D(the buttons to move left and right) and repeatedly tapping the buttons or holding them for a short time period. This will make you're opponent not know which way you are going. Or you can use the basic one, and the easiest one. Just move you're mouse left and right, this will make you're opponent's chances of killing you slimmer. Also, you can use strafing on the offense. (This is only if the FnS placement is obvious).When running at someone you can go left and right and then there chances of lighting you on fire will be very slim.

• Block-hitting:

Block-hitting is only usable with a sword. What this tactic does is, it reduces around 50% of the damage you take while fighting someone. When you run up to someone and get into a fight, what you do is right and left click you're mouse. This will then block you're sword and swing at the same time. With this tactic you will be able to survive longer and win most of you're fights. You don't want to be a noob with this tactic. If you are low, don't continue to block hit, run.

Bow:

• • Shooting you're opponent while they are running away.

This tactic is very hard among beginners. To perform this tactic you have to practically know where you're opponent is going. Say you're opponent is running to the left, you then shoot you're arrow in-front of them and they will then run into it.

• Shooting while getting chased.

This tactic is very dangerous. If you are a 1 hit, do not turn around and shoot them, you will most likely die. To do this what you have to do is be aware of you're health and have enough space for you to turn around and charge you're bow, and shoot.

• Shooting whilst in water.

This is so easy. If you are in the water, and so is you're opponent, you have to shoot them with you're bow. This is very easy to do.

Fishing Rod:

• Infinate durability gltich.

What this does is makes you're fishing rod unbreakable. What you need to do is use you're mouse scroll and go up and down in you're hotbar from you're fishing rod to something next to it.

• The Fishing Rod Tactic.

This is a very common tactic, and on my part very easy to use. All you need to do is hit someone with you're fishing rod while they are coming at you. This will allow you to get the first hit and give you a combo. Most of the time you will be victorious in fights.

Flint and Steel:

• • Placement.

This is very easy to do, all you do is right click you're FnS onto the ground. This will light you're opponent on fire, and get him/her down 3 heart's. You then get an advantage to win the fight.

Taking out teams:

• Targeting.

This is one of the most dangerous ways, but yet the easiest way to take out a team. All you need to do is target(go for one person) and attack them. This will easier get you're opponent low, and make him/her run away. Or you will be killed by the other teammate.

• Make them attack them selves.

What you need to do is get one of the teammates in-front of the other one. This rarely works against good players, most of the time this is for nooby teams. When one is in-front of the other, they will then accidentally hit each other. This will then get them lower and give you an advantage.

Knowing the maps:

This is the one tactic you must know, If you do not know the maps, you don't have a chest route's, then you will die. Knowing the maps will help you fight people. If you are low and need to light someone on fire and you know a 1x1 or 2x2 or 3x3 area. You can light them on fire. You can also bow spam them to death or get them really low and use you're sword to kill them. Also, (from personal experience). If you are fighting a team, find a place where it is high(like a top of a building), you can then knock one of them off(or both). You can then regen and win the fight.

A few tips for SG:

- Always have chest-routes.
- If a lot of people go to one route, sometime's skip spawn and rush the route.
- Always keep your hunger full.
- Don't chase someone the whole game.
