Global Stats Reset?

So many people is saying that will be a Global Stats Reset soon.
Is it real?

Well they promised it a LONG time ago but then they changed it saying that they would keep your original stats but then add others or something like that. Since I've barely been on in-game recently I wouldn't know much.

The stats reset is not actually happening. Soon, however, a new leaderboard will be added to MCSG, and that board will keep track of every new statistic you have. Then, there will be a final leaderboard that combines the new stats with the old stats. This way, you can have new, different stats but still keep your win count (and those boards differentiate them).

The Global Leaderboards Update will go as follows:

• There will be a legacy leaderboards with all stats prior to the update.
• There will be a new leaderboards, with all stats after the update (probably with monthly, weekly, daily leaderboards).
• There will be an overall leaderboards, with stats from before and after the update.

The update, which is set to include the new forums, will be happening soon! That is the developers main priority at the moment, as well as the forums.
