So, everyone knows that everyone has been ghosting and crashing all the time on the EU servers and I know that the issue is with the host. But I was wondering why they don't simply get a new host then? Also any ideas on how long the unplayabilty is going to last?

I think you don't know that getting a new host isn't that simple, you can't just simply get a new host, it takes money, finding a new good location. Also, they just changed the location of the servers and they're getting DDoS as far as I know and they're trying to fix it.

Cause the Devs/Mods/Admins are flipping lazy and cheap.
Excuse me? Without Devs/Mods/Admins, there wouldn't be this community. How are devs lazy? They're working daily on the servers and putting their free time and all their knowledge in this community. Mods are lazy? Where's your logic? They moderate the servers, TS and forums all the time. They put their free time to make MCGamer a better place for YOU! And all you do is being annoying and stupid? And you're saying admins are lazy? They control everything in this community such as, that the Sr.Staff and mods are working their job properly. They aren't cheap, you are. You just don't know how staff team works and how much effort and time they put in this community.

To the topic: I suppose EU is getting problems because Devs are from US and because of the time zone they can't fix everything asap.

Are you serious right now? That's not even trying to give a helpful answer, that's being plain ignorant and rude.

First of all, "cheap" - let me correct you there. Europe is now our most expensive datacenter, even more expensive than US. If you call that "cheap", you have a very strange definition of the word. We do actually use a higher quality datacenter in Europe than several other European communities use; our European datacenter is also from the same company that hosts the US servers, so we do have quite a high expectation of quality from them. Unfortunately, the datacenter itself is getting attacked with ridiculously large attacks recently, which would definitely explain the large drops/crashes and may also be a large factor in the lag. Our datacenter is working to improve the network quality to be able to handle these attacks better, but there's not much we can do about it ourselves at the present moment in time.

Lazy? I'll quote part of a post I made on another thread...

So.. we do nothing? Let me enlighten you a bit. Here's the past 2 weeks of commit history of *just* our core plugin (Xime):

Keep in mind, that's 2 weeks of our core - that does not include gametypes.

... snip ...

By the way, we do development livestreams on a regular basis now. Check them out sometime; they prove that we do things!
Although it may seem like nothing has been getting done publicly, we've been working on fixing core issues and bugs that have been present, and bugs that are actually standing in the way of us being able to work on gametypes.

Please get your facts straight before you come out and insult us, essentially stating that we don't care about our servers.

TL;DR for OP: Our Europe datacenter has been under many attacks recently, resulting in a lot of outages and lag. They're working on the situation, but we can't do much ourselves.
