This. :p

Right now, over the time my family was visiting, I got sucked into another game because it seems "more fun" right now. In all honesty, I was getting slightly "bored" of MCSG. I'm recovering from that by playing other things until I lose interest. Then, it will be full on MCSG again. Playing too much of one thing, no matter how fun/awesome, you will eventually get bored. Sadly, the only cure is to get away for a bit, find something else to interest you until you're ready to come back. Luckily, with Minecraft's possibilities, you don't even need to leave Minecraft to find something to interest you - vanilla, tekkit, skyblock, the many, many custom maps out there, redstone, trying out new features in the new snapshot, mods, creative, PvP, economy, parkour, the many different gamemodes like SG, The Walls, Ghostcraft, MCTIMV, MCTF2, Fyregames, MineZ, other customization like texture packs, optifine, shader mods...the possibilities are almost literally endless. That's why, up until now, I had gone 2 years without getting bored of Minecraft in even the slightest, always finding something new to try - beating my earlier record time by a year and three quarters...I've finally tried almost every single popular Minecraft thing going on...I can finally get away. :p

Next up for me in Minecraft, along with more MCSG, is actually being a part of the creators of these things - I've experienced everything there is to experience, it's time for me to be one of those creative people who created these awesome experiences. I'm learning to code in java right now as best I can, and I've got fraps ready to go for youtube...I've got some ideas in mind I want to try, relating to MCSG...I don't think I'll get bored again any time soon. There is always something you haven't done, after all.
^this is so typhical for g33ke, these kinds of posts xD

Another secret leak: MCSGv2 will have randomized chests. No more chests in the same location.
Why would you do that would ruin the chest routes and the games would have no skills. People have seen this and honestly to me that sounds like a bad idea. If you randomized the tiers now that would be cool.

I both agree and disagree with what had been said here. First off, I have to address the idea that skill is based upon having a chest route. No. Just no. If that was so, a noob who had a good chest route yet died to a player with worse stuff then him regularly would be considered good, when he obviously isn't. Chest routes are such a tiny part of your overall skill, and really, more skill would be shown by not having a chest route and winning with inferior gear.

However, I do agree that randomized chest locations is not a great idea. Though it would make maps more interesting, it would also make them incredibly more frustrating. I think randomized chest tiers is a good compromise, and one that will add greatly to the servers. It will spice up the gameplay, with gear being more evenly distributed as opposed to the people with good routes having OP gear every game. Yet it will not force people to look for new chests every single game, and most likely end up starving to death or without a weapon for many, many games. Personally, I think it's an amazing idea, and would be much more rewarding to implement then randomized chest locations.

I understand what you are saying about the chest routes Zeno. I was being a little stupid there. In my opinion a good chest route is extremely important but I do understand that a noob will be killed by a good player with inferior gear.
