Gamma is still bannable

OK so pretty much gamma is still bannable for some stuborn reason...

It doesn't help you pvp.

It doesn't give anyone an unfair advantage besides seeing dark areas and if you have a light map you can already see these. Just go and download dantehs pack and cave. It looks like gamma but its not..

Some people have bright monitors.. Its not fair that people with dimmer monitors can't use gamma..

Some texture packs have gamma in them. Light maps..

A recent youtuber got banned for gamma even though he had custom colors on which is in optifine which is an allowed mod. bcfcAnt

MCSG still bans people for gamma because it gives an advantage. What advantage does it give. Pls explain

So many people HACK/toggle/ use ghost clients. Instead of trying to catch these players they try to catch people that use gamma. Mcsg staff call gamma a "hacked client"...

This is why I don't play MCSG anymore...

I guarantee u some mod will lock this thread for some dumb reason instead of actually giving a legitimate response.

a .minecraft provides all the assets and libarys so thats the point

OK a "modded client" regedit is a modifed client and its allowed.. Why can't u modify UR .minecraft. That's what it's there for...
