Gaming PC?

So... I plan to save up for a new gaming PC (If I dont blow my money on something lol I wont). Anyway ive been researching it and am not sure if I should build it or just buy one from alienwear etc...... Thats were you guys come in <3! I would love your opinions on good specs,Pc parts, and PC's in general. Thanks for the help it means allot!

Don't buy an Alienware as you can make your own PC with exactly same parts for $200 or $250 cheaper

I don't think there's anything wrong with buying a pre-made gaming PC, so long as you do your research. I for one, don't like the idea personally, which is why I'm building my own. Mainly because I really like being in control of what exactly is being used in my build. pcpartpicker.com is a really great source to find parts. Essentially, you can make an infinite amount of builds with their database of parts, which the categorize by who sells it cheapest. You can also add custom parts and prices if you find something not on the site.

Though it's all up to do. It does however, require a lot of research if you're new to building a custom PC.

Edit: My build is intentionally rather expensive. I've been saving for it, and I'm sure of the capable performance based the price. You can still get a good quality entry level gaming PC for $300-$400

Pre built computer are okay but, you will always get more for your money if you buy the parts yourself and build it yourself. But on that note only build it yourself if you know what you're doing or it could waste a lot of money.

I've seen 780s run on that with plenty of headroom. I assume you want another 4GB 770, yes?
