Hi guys, I am ZHD and I have something that needs help from you MCSG players. I used to play Minecraft/MCSG with 120 fps. But now, I can only play with 5 fps. I don't know what's wrong with my computer, but last night I remember I was opening Windows Movie Maker to edit a video I recorded on MCSG and suddenly my computer crashes and I have to force-shutdown it.

Do you know any solution to this? What can I do to my computer? or Should i take my computer to a computer service type thing and let them fix it?

Task Manager, and end the tasks that are WMM or garbage. It's not hardware, so no.
They'll literally cost you 75 dollars to reset Windows.

Probably won't work, tbh.
Just do CTRL+SHIFT+ESC you'll get the task manager.

If its actually computer sided try doing what Ordies said go to task manager and close down all of the scrap files CTRL+ALT+DELETE then end the process of all the crap, Also check some of the high cpu'ed processes and end some of them but only if you know what they do cause you dont want to close something that you need for your pc to run efficiently. Then if its not that then just try deleting all your roaming files in %appdata% and re installing minecraft

I recently found an issue with javaw.exe . Sometimes when using minecraft a second instance will open in the task manager which takes up more CPU power than minecraft alone but less memory. It's odd and I don't know where it comes from but as soon as you remove the duplicate javaw.exe you will get much better performance. To find this use the task manager (ctrl alt del) if you have Minecraft open right click the instance in applications on the task manager, then click go to process. This is the javaw.exe you want to keep. Remove the other by right clicking it and clicking end process. I don't know whether this will help as it could just be me but hopefully it will.

Edit: I opened minecraft and it did it for me here.

the highlight one is minecraft whereas the otherone is nothing and i mean damn look at that cpu usage ( my comp is a potato so it will vary)

Yes, RAM totally makes MineCraft run faster, totally, m8.

Also, everyone that is giving answers has been told it didn't work.

Ok im not giving that answer. A issue is dedicated ram. your java only takes 1 gb while minecraft is running . Open up minecraft and select the profile you typically use. Click on edit and click the check box on JVMArguments. It should say -Xmx1G. replace the 1 with a 4, so it says -Xmx4g. This gives it around 4 gigs of dedicated ram while minecraft is running :)
