Hey, could anybody tell me what is the distinction between New Member, Member and Active Member? Thanks.

A new member is a forum user with less than 50 messages (posts), and an active member is someone with over 1000 posts. A member is everything in between those numbers. These are normal (not donors or mods). Since I have 434 posts, if I wasn't a mod, I'd just be a 'member'. Either way, welcome to the forums! Enjoy your stay and I hope to see you around!
Aside from the number of posts they have, there is no distinction. One does not have more abilities than the others.

This is actually wrong I'll highlight in red where you made mistakes.

New Member: 0-30 posts, any amount of likes.

Member: 30-1000 posts, any amount of likes.

Active member: 1000+ posts , 500+ likes.

No need to worry, it usually takes about an hour or so from the time you reached 30 posts till you achieve your new rank.
