A Guide to Forum etiquette​

This is a guide on how to post on the forums and gain​

respect from your fellow forum users, Please listen to this guide​

Posting​

​

When you post PLEASE don't post two messages at the same​

time, there is a edit button under the first message use that.​

It's annoying and quiet a few people around here dislike it,​

Don't do it!​

Grammar​

​

I understand not everyone is from a english speaking country, BUT Spelling​

and grammar get you taken much more seriously around here.​

If you're writing a thread, please use good grammar (or the best you can)​

because without it you look childish and you're less likely to be taken​

seriously​

Language​

​

​

The forums are ENGLISH speaking. So please post in english, not everyone​

understands the same language as you, if you want to talk​

with someone else, use a private message NOT a thread.​

Also, The forums are PG-13 like the servers. Absolutely NO​

swearing or foul language on them or any of your posts. Be nice.​

Manners​

​

Remember kids, Manners maketh the (wo)man. Be kind, be respectful​

(Except to bacca's) and don't be rude. It's common etiquette to​

follow people back who follow you on the forums, and if you see something​

you like, give them a Like! It helps! It also makes you look nicer and​

like a better person.​

Spamming/Flaming​

​

Do NOT spam or flame a thread. This WILL get you banned off the forums and​

possibly the servers! Spamming threads is pretty self explanatory, don't post loads​

and loads of posts in one thread at the same time. ​

Flaming is where you TRY to start a argument in a thread. It's not funny, it's not smart.​

DONT do it.​

Posting Threads​

​

When you post a thread, think to yourself is this something people want to​

read? and is IMPORTANT enough to make a thread about?​

If not just PM the person, Or make a status update.​

When you're creating the thread itself, Please, PLEASE, search the forums​

if it had been posted previously. If it has just comment on that. No need to spam​

threads​

Necro-Posts​

​

If you see a 3 month old post on funny cat pictures on the 25th page of​

the forums PLEASE dont post on it, It brings it to the front and annoys​

people, filling the new threads with old pointless ones.​

Also, may I mention that it is better to search for something before posting your own thread about it. We don't need thousands of useless threads of people complaining about being kicked by donors, and each and every one getting replies from the same people complaining about it on every other thread made on the subject.
