I don't see why not! This could be extremely helpful for those who don't speak English and would put them in touch with someone who understands them better.

Only changes I'd make to this idea:

1. everyone gets these, not just staff

2. you just automatically get the flag (using some sort of location finder thing) somewhere obvious on your profile page, and you don't have to apply for it

Definitely a great idea Alex! The only downside I can foresee, is Admins having to assign these badges manually and that being quite time consuming. Though I definitely could see it being implemented.

Both of them are kinda impossible. We are more than 10k members on MCGamer, and Admins can't handle giving so many flags to people, so if this is going to be implemented, it can only be implemented if we do only staff.

Talking about your second Idea.. If we do this, you will only get 1 flag, and not all the languages (flags) you actually speak. So If I can Speak Danish and I am born in Spain, I would get the Danish flag but not the Spanish flag.

I completely agree with you, However, there must be a way to prevent such work.

They could make it so it finds the users IP location. Not sure if that's possible, but it would help the staff.

Hello!

Well, the title kind of explains it all. As there is Many people on the forums, that don't understand/speak english, it would be nice if the staff members could get flags (badges) on the forums, of those languages they could speak. For example if I spoke (Danish, Spanish and English) I would get the Danish, Spanis and English flag as badge, so community members they know who to contact if they don't speak/understand english.

All in all this is a fantastic idea and I personally would like to see this happen.
