hey i have been playing mcsg a fair bit now and was wondering in regard to mods
optifine is okay according to boards in the lobby and thinks like BSM and xray mods are banned but i was wonderig if nameplate mods were banned like in the FTB modpack figured id check and i dont know if i have even posted in the correct spot if i have not could a mod shift this topic to the correct spot

Mods that give you an unfair advantage are NOT allowed.

A mod which makes nameplates bolder, larger or gives a visibility advantage to you is not allowed.

okay was just checking to see if the nameplate mod was a nono and it is il admit it was more to see who killed me and to bounty em easier

so anyone know of a good mod that is allowed beyond optifine?

Generally all mods that don't change your Gameplay are allowed. When you're wondering if a mod is allowed, ALWAYS ask a moderator first.
Mods like TMI that don't even work are of course allowed.

Any mods or hacked clients that would give your player an advantage is not allowed. Examples:

-Better Spring Mod
-Chest Finding Mods
-Player Finding Mods
-Regeneration Hacks

But there are some mods that are ok. Just ask yourself: Does this give me an advantage over other players?
Examples of mods that are allowed:

-Optifine
-Shaders Mod
-Multiplayer Profiles Mod
-Too Many Items
