Well, in the Greek version every reference is destroyed, because it wouldn't make sense in Greek ;-; And I may see it, but it will not be of the first movies I would like to see.

Well, real world connections is more of a correct term. It's set in Sydney, Australia, and has many landmarks in the movie that are in the real world.
