The website says they are, but Minecraft says otherwise - 'Can't reach server'...? I've tried re-logging.

Ah, found the problem - EU 1-16 are down. I just didn't scroll down on the server list.

We just restarted foxface and the servers were down for a little bit because the server was reloading.
