Dying right at the start?

Lately, I join a game only to somehow fall too far when the map loads and die on the starting plate, and when I respawn, it says "Internal server error" and kicks me. What is going on? Is my internet too slow or something?

This happened to me once, too. It was my first time playing MCSG ruins. I'm not sure what causes it; we should ask a dev that.
