Do you believe in karma? Have you ever experienced it?

Yes and no. I've experienced it before, both good and bad. Though I have done good things before, and I didn't get rewarded or get anything in return. I've done some bad things, and I didn't get a punishment for it. I'm not so sure what to think about it.

If you do something bad, most likely something bad is going to happen back, say you hit someone in the face do you just think that they're going to take it? Probably not, they'll most likely hit you back. There is no such thing as karma, lol.

Karma is not real in the sense that there is a force out there balancing the universe. But if you constantly do good things and position yourself on the good side of the spectrum, then the odds of good things happening to you increases. Simple as that.

That's pretty much my belief.

For what my religion is and what I believe in, karma isn't actually something that gives you a return for if you do something good or bad. The actual meaning of karma comes from India, in which it records all the good things and bad things you have done, and then after you have passed away, it's used to show if you go to a more happier life or to a sadder life in your next life. It's kind of complicated.

No, I don't believe it exits.

I was thought by my parents that if you do good, it will always return to you one day. But seeing the current scenario where people fight over each other for a place, fame, position etc and when you see children and women in some part of the world suffer for no bad they have done, its hard to believe Karma exists. I feel the whole concept of karma has faded in todays competitive world and would like to see a different take on it. It always good to know that 'Karma' exists!!

These are some questions we should look at, refrering to Buddhism.

What is the cause of the inequality that exists among mankind?
Why should one person be brought up in the lap of luxury, endowed with fine mental, moral and physical qualities, and another in absolute poverty, steeped in misery?
Why should one person be a mental prodigy, and another an idiot?
Why should one person be born with saintly characteristics and another with criminal tendencies?
Why should some be linguistic, artistic, mathematically inclined, or musical from the very cradle?
Why should others be congenitally blind, deaf, or deformed?|
Why should some be blessed, and others cursed from their births?

I think it is just one massive belief or superstition that everyone believes happens, if you do something bad and you expect "karma" obviously you will take the slightest thing out of the ordinary, such as loosing keys, and straight away thinking it's karma. I don't believe in it what-so-ever.

^I've learned that those are caused by karma as it all ads up after you have died and the majority of good or bad karma shows if you should go up the ladder or not. By ladder I mean from Easy life to hard life. Easy would mean being born rich and hard would mean being born poor and blind. Something like that
