Well, I know it can't be completely random, but It's definitely not from winning a game with a weapon, then rejoining the same server. My brother was getting the glitch every 2 or 3 games, and yet was winning one in 10. I even saw him lose, rejoin and still have it Dw, about telling me though... I don't really think I want to know ty r3v

This glitch is a minecraft glitch, so MCSG staff can’t fix it themselves. Mostly people get this glitch in the lobby and could be prevented by taking iron swords out of the lobby.

If it is not fixed it 1.7, why not just put people into spectator mode after they have won, thus clearing their inventory? That way they won't get the diamond sword at the end of the game -.-

It's simple to stop it.
Prevent players from joining the same server after they won.
Remove all iron swords from lobby.
That is all.

Can't everyone spawn with a weapon in their hand on the podium? That way the game would remove the bug and a simple command block could clear everyone's inventory, thereby removing the glitch.
