Critical hits.

I don't really get the amount of damage a critical hit could do. Like I don't really understand 50% damage plus an additional heart. And with the swords, what's the +7 attack damage mean and stuff like that. What I'm really curious about is the critical hits and the 50% damage plus an additional heart. I don't understand.

I was told it just did an additional half heart of damage.

If you get the critical hit when you are in the air then it is an extra half heart. If you jump and get as soon as you hit the ground, it's a heart. I think...
