Code:
I'm not computer geekier at all. I am going to read you what my computer says it has for specs:
Intel B960 Processor
15.6" 16:9 HD LED LCD
Intel HD Graphics
4GB DDR3 Memory
750 GB HDD
DVD-Super Multi DL drive
802.11b/g/n
6-cell Li-ion battery
It is a laptop.
I want to build a PC, but A laptop would be even better.
Now, I love playing Minecraft, and I mean servers, like hardcore hunger games. I currently get 15-50 FPS, but my game freezes a lot.
I need to know what specs would let me run minecraft on servers with 100+ FPS with settings on Far render, fancy, clouds, and a 128x128 texture pack.
Also, if there are premade PCs or Laptops that can do that, that cost under $500 let me know.
I'm really just looking for specs to run Minecraft on max settings, and record using fraps.
Please let me know. If you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them.
Thank you!

My computer runs 300-500 FPS on most maps

specs:
Quad core i5
32GB ram
GTX680

This however is overkill for minecraft and my other 6 year old gaming computer can run it just fine with steady 80-100 fps

specs:
Dual core i3
4GB ram
geforce 9800GT

I think if you spend 500$ wisely you can end up with a computer able to hold 60-80 fps.
Btw i know nothing about laptops so i cant really say anything about that:p
