My sister has saved up birthday money but not spending anything and now for some reason has like $1500. She says she wants 'A computer laptop that runs mods with no lag'. She wants a laptop, but I'm unsure if there's any laptops that can still run plenty of mods without lag...

Basically, she wants to buy the family a computer that runs Minecraft well... idk she's like eight. Anyway, any recommendations? I could see if she wants a desktop, but not sure at the moment c:

Alienware laptops are fairly decent, but your best bet would be to customize one. Maybe go to a computer building shop near you and ask the worker to cuztomize a computer that runs mods on video games/Minecraft.

It looks pretty snazzy but being computer clueless could you explain how well it does with Minecraft? xD

I would go with an alienware as they are designed for gaming, but since this is going to be a 'family computer' then go with Erisyuka's comment.

She's been collecting for so long and doesn't spend anything. She's saved up her $1 coins for jobs around the house, her friends don't get her presents, they give her $20. Her grandparents are the same :3

I don't know how, but I looked for myself and yep, she has got $1500.

She just wants one better than the laptop I have :3
