This map was lost to my computer being stupid >.<

Can you not recover a previous version of the folder it was in? If you right click the folder it will say previous versions, open it and choose a date you remember it not being corrupted, then drag the world files into the normal save folder and replace all rather than merge. Bob's your aunty.

All versions of the map were corrupted, i tried opening others but they crashed my minecraft :/

I always get really paranoid that something like this will happen, so I go completely overboard with making backups. I think it's an issue with 1.4.6+ because it never happened to me before, and two of my worlds have developed chunk errors since I got 1.4.6.

Yeh, this is the only problem with solo-made-maps, i made quite a few really cheezy maps back in 1.7 (good times...) solo and no errors what-so-ever :/

A lesson to learn from this fellow builders...if you are doing a map solo, still use a server, i found that it happens less that way.

OK good yours is nothing like my map cause I'm making a map called Volcanic Rush and its all based inside a volcano but it is all in the volcano.Its all Netherrack and kinda like solar frost but nether style

Well I hope yours is good, and this one is looking pretty nice so far, so i wouldn't go mouthing off just yet

I'm not mouthing off yet XD it still has to have alot of work put in. And didint Capt ButterToast lose the map or crashed his mc or something
