Giving people capes would start a slow decline of the whole point of capes in the first place. Capes were first given to those who contributed to the game majorly and then to those who went to the conventions. Optifine now has capes which is still alright in my opinion since the whole purpose of the capes are to show your activeness or contribution to the game. Although it would be cool to get capes for MCSG, I believe it is not the right thing to do........
