Hi when I try to connect to eu120.mcsg.in (MinecraftSurvivalGames server) it says Can't resolve hostname.

Of course its a DNS error... tried to ping the IP to but with same error.

-I googled around on this forums, added the OpenDNS servers to my DNS on my local mashine. doesn't work...
-I used googles own DNS servers... doesn't work....
-I added other public dns servers, doesn't work......
-I started a hostspot from my cellphone using that IP with my ISP:s DNS servers, doesn't work.
-I also connected to a paid-VPN Server in the United States, doesn't work...
-I used online DNS loockups, no-one didn't find 'eu120.mcsg.in' does it Really exist?

Can I find a list of all IP:s (not DNS names) for all mcsg servers?

Can somebody ping 'eu120.mcsg.in' and post that IP here?

other ideas?

Thanks Jonathan

Have you tried connecting to the server through the mcgamer lobby?

I could join it from the Lobby, thanks. I forgot that. But it should work using the IP to, it would be easier.

Are they using only ONE server with CNAME records that directs them to the correct world?

EDIT: Yeah, it looks like they are using only ONE server per Region (US, AS, CA, EU etc.)
I think they are using the CNAME records and just forgot to create one for eu120.mcsg.in

I guess your router has the ip blocked or something along those lines. Cant resolve hostname should only appear when the ip is wrong or when you have no internet acces. This is just a guess I'm not an expert.

I tried 6 things to pass my router, I don't think its on my router. I have also tested the IP in my friend house. Im going to test to edit the hosts file and direct that to the IP of 'eu.mcgamer.net' and see what happens

By the way, when copy pasting the IP are you sure there is no space at the beginning or the end? This happens to me pretty often.

I think you had a typo somewhere as its working fine for me.
Edit : otherwise you would've gotten another error than can't resolve hostname
