Yes I have looked at the other solved issues and support threads on this. Non of them has helped me by far.
I'm using xfinity modem but its connected to my netgear router(WNR1000v2) for the other computers and ect. I first had a problem with the unresolved host which then following the guide via opendns it fixed that but, now its this issue with can't reach server. I have tried joining the two ips which was shown for ip trace...didn't work at all. Port-forwarded yes I have done that. Yes its version 1.4.5.I also swapped to 1.4.6 to see if it worked nope. I allowed java through firewall, even turned firewall off still nothing. Hope someone can help me out here.
