Have you tried restarting Minecraft? It may seem simple but it often works. If that doesn't then I would try force-updating your MC

Im fine. Just takes a thew seconds longer to log in

Do you have Hamachi installed? There was a bug where you couldn't join EU servers when you had it. Not sure if it still exists, but just try to uninstall it.
