Cannot fly..ever :o

Hullo thar.

Today I signed up and finally managed to join a server. People were telling me to double tap space to fly, just like in creative mode. However as much as I spam it, I do not fly at all, just hop up and down like a spastic

I am very experienced in Minecraft, Im not just a n00b who can't do anything

Any ideas? Do I need to do a command or anything?

You only can once you're a spectator.

i have heard about a few people who seems to not be able to fly once in spectator, im not sure what could cause this, to be honest. I am glad to hear that you are now able to fly in spec mode now.

Final note, When you have a problem like this with the server, please post it in the General support forum next time.

Do you have mods installed? If you can you can't fly.

If your computer is really slow the double tap spacebar doesn't work very well.
So it could be that.
