Can`t reach server

Hi everybody.
I have a friend with a problem. When he adds the eu servers into` the list it says "Can`t reach server".He can connect to every kind of server except the eu[number].mcsg.in ones.
He has java updated and premium minecraft account.

It's probably because you don't have good connection to all the servers except for EU. Just stick to playing EU for know is the best solution.

He played on another computer with the same network and it worked.

They are just down or do what k2 said and try a different region.

They weren`t down, i could see them online when he couldn`t see them...We will try to play on the US servers.

Does your friend have Hamachi installed? He should try uninstalling it, this used to be an issue. Not sure if it still is, but it's worth a try

i have the same problem. Do i have to use the servers specific to my region?

I've solved the problem, he needed to uninstall Java then install back and it worked. Thx all for help !
