I come onto my computer one day and I turn on Chrome. This is the homepage for Chrome whenever I turn it on. Someone on my computer must have accidently installed it in and I have no idea how to get it off. I've tried everything, yet it stays. I've reinstalled chrome, tried to edit with chrome homepage's, etc. How do I get this stupid thing off my computer?

Why can't you use it?
I don't want it. It's a crappy search engine that no-ones heard about it. It's not that I can't use Chrome, but I don't like the fact I can't decide what my homepage is and some unreliable source can.

I tried resetting Chrome. It seemed to work. I did the same thing yesterday but it came back. Until then: please keep the thread open. If anyone knows more about this feel free to reply.

You should manually be able to set a homepage. I will explain later ;) In game :p
Edit:You can go into the settings page on google chrome and there should be a little section called startup! You can then select "open a page or specific set of pages" Then copy the google chrome url into it and it should open google chrome when you start :D (Hope it helped)

You can also try checking your programs by click on "Start" -> "Control Panel" -> "Programs and Features" -> and uninstall the ominent thing (if it's even there).

You can also check Chrome's add-ons. Other than that, I'm not sure.

That usually happens when I install something on my computer..so I go to control panel and see if anything's installed there.

I normally just : Click on the " 3 bar thingy next to the star at the search bar" , then I go to " Search " which in under " Appearance " , then under " Set which search engine is used when searching from the omnibox. " I choose Google.
This is what I do not sure if its the same for you and I don't know how to uninstall it xD
