Can I buy donor for a friend?

Title says it all. Just wondering with the new billing system and needing your billing address can you still buy donor for threads whilst using your address if that makes sense?

It's been a long time since I've bought donor so I can't speak from experience, I do have a friend that has bought many different people donor.
So yes, you can buy friends donor, though I'm not sure of the specifics.
