What's the difference?
Gold Donor and Iron donor

Gold donor lasts longer (3 months as opposed to 1 month). It costs more. It has more priority over iron donors.

A perk is like an advantage you get for having it. For example, donors get more map votes than normal members, as well as higher priority for joining a server. And the better the donor group you're in the better the perks, as was mentioned above, gold lasts longer than iron, and in addition you get one more map vote than iron would. Also, if a server was filled with iron donors, a gold donor joining would kick one of them, whereas if a server was filled with gold, an iron donor couldn't get on. Hope that makes sense.
