I have noticed that i have never got leather boots in a chest nor anyone i asked... not to major, but it is weird...

I've got leather boots before, multiple times. Not that they're much use but yes, I'd say it's just a coincidence you haven't seen any in a chest.

if you kill some cows you can craft them
