Block hitting really matters when you use it. I have no problem with it and never have, but if you use it incorrectly it can only be deadly for you. I usually block hit on people who have better stuff than me of if I am in a fight that is close-quarters.

And more on topic, usually when people block hit when pvping me, I usually slaughter them because I strafe, and jump all around them. They hit me once or twice.

Fishing rod-They hit the other person with a fishing rod just before going in to combat, slowing them down and giving the other player an advantage.
