Hi!

So I've been looking around for some good headsets under a hundred dollars, and I've narrowed it down to the Razer Kraken and the SteelSeries Siberia V2. Which one is better? (I need to order in the next 16 hours to get free 2-business day shipping swag) or do you recommend any others (Amazon.ca link)?

Thanks!

I've heard more about the Razer products, and not so much about the SteelSeries, although I do have a friend who recently got a SteelSeries keyboard, however I know more people with Razer Krakens.
If you wanna be a mainstream hottie, go with Kraken :p

Mah boi <3
jk, read reviews and see which lasts longer. Once you get past a certain point, mic quality and sound doesn't really matter, it's how long-lasting it is. Both mics are top-notch, as well as their sound system (I'm assuming) so you want one that'll last a long time, or until you're ready and willing to buy another one. (+ It's always good to keep it as a backup.)

Turtle Beach x12 50$ on Amazon
Turtle Beaches definitely aren't as good as the ones I mentioned above. I think I'll go with the SteelSeries, as they seem to be the better all-around headset. And apparently they're really light and comfortable so that's good.

The Turtle Beach X12 is a Good Headset for its Price. But it depends. Are you going for Youtube/Streaming/Recording? If so, get a Blue Yeti Microphone, it is not a Headset but it has very good sound quality. After that, just wear Some Earbuds, or what ever you have. Myself, as a Turtle Beach Fan, like the Turtle Beach X41 (Don't mark my words) But I am pretty sure it is wireless. Turtle Beach also has the best Bass sound. So if you a MC gamer, Turtle Beach is prob not the best for you. (I have no idea what headsets you are talking about, I only know Turtle Beach :/)
EDIT: Yeeeeah I searched the reviews and the SteelSeries seem better, but I don't think they are much of a difference
DOUBLE EDIT: I just remembered. Razer Mouse>Razer Headset, IDK how this will help you, but I just wanted to say it xD

Hah, well there are definitely more than Turtle Beaches in the headset world. I'm looking for one that I can use for gaming (sounds and talking so it has to come with a mic) and playing music. It seems the Kraken and the Siberia V2 are the best in the category, and Turtle Beaches are way too mainstream.

I honestly don't know much about headsets, but I have a Triton headset (something like that) and it works great. Also, I am aware that you already bought one, I just wanted to say this in case anybody else looking for a good headset checks out this thread :p
