Banned, but still able to join

Detailed Summary (Make this as detailed as possible):
It was close to getting night I think. My brother got banned (with no reason as far as we know) while we were chasing a guy running and jumping. About 30 seconds later I got banned too (again without any reason). This was strange already, but we were very surprised when we could join eu1 again.. When my brother (MaximusII) joined he was in spectator mode but he still had all the stuff he had when he got 'banned'.

I have seen more people reporting it now, so it probably isn't on our side (pfew).

Getting banned randomly too and secondly Cant connect to any servers but Eu 1 and 7, and lag like never before.
