So, I was in a dm with two people whom I both killed. The other guy then called me a bunch of names, and i took screenshots. But then, when I was about to copy the report template I saw that chad had written "All threads require proof (Screenshots for Spammers/Videos for Hackers)". So is it only spam and hackers I should report then? And not people being rude? I have been confused about this topic for quite some time now and everyone tells me different things..

The Spammers and hackers thing was a generic example. If someone is harassing you and cursing at you, they are not respecting other players, and thus they are breaking a rule.

I've never seen a mod ban a player for being rude though.. Just seen them kick players. Where do they draw the line? When is it too much? :p

Depends. The player only needs to say 'stop', and anything after that is bannable, as it is filed as abuse. Usually, if they direct any negativity towards you (name, you are stupid!) could be an example of such.

If anyone does something that is against the rules, you can report them for it. The staff will need screenshots for chat related offenses and video evidence for hacking offenses. People being rude could be considered abuse, and you can report them for that.

There is no straightforward answer to this question because Abuse Reports are reviewed on a case by case basis. Whether certain behavior crosses the line of being punishable with a ban depends on the particular circumstances and context in which the behavior in question was displayed.

Usually, you don't need the staff to tell you when someone crosses the line though. If you felt abused by the name calling, that's a pretty good indicator. My advice would be to report it to the staff and let them decide on the appropriate action to take.

If someone is being rude to you it is considered abuse, which is what the section is named after :)

To put it short, we would love it if you report any actions that you find to be against the rules to help us make the community a better place. The "hackers and spammers" part is just an example of what you could report someone for, and what would require evidence, however there are other offences which do not require evidence, such as people with names that you find inappropriate.

If you have further questions, feel free to send me a private message, and I will be glad to help :)
