I think the community should be able to comment on and see disputes like this? What's the problem with people being able to see a dispute and commenting on if they think if it's a fair ban or not.

Because it's none of your business, the staff is here for a reason. Also, not everyone might want to have their disputes publicly available. And still, even if you might not agree with a certain ban, the staff will have a the final say anyway so in the end it doesn't matter. The staff team is trained to deal with every situation as fairly as possible.

I understand this is locked, I'd just like to pitch in real quickly.

I haven't seen the evidence, but I'm assuming it was regarding some sort of inappropriate IGN or name.

To answer the "What would Jesus do" statement, Jesus would have given him a fitting punishment as God does not stand for profanity or unclean thoughts. :>
