Hello MCGamer

earlier on today, there was a player accusing someone of hacking. I stood up seeing as there were no staff members online and told him "Stop accusing him of hacks. It is against the rules" He then told me to be quiet at "Backseat modding" is bannable and I should read the forums.

I'm here to ask if that is an actual thing. I spoke to a few moderators already about this and they said that people need to realise that mods can't be everywhere. I was trying to help the guy/girl getting accused because I would imagine it being pretty rough to get accused of hacking.

I am not going to mention the players name as it may cause conflict/flame.

Opinions on this?

You are 100% allowed to "backseat moderate". In fact, behaviors like these are encouraged! If anyone tells you this is against the rules, just ignore them and continue to help the community.
