is the corn the only place u can get iron armour? and if not is there only certain chests with iron armour in it not in the corn?

You can get iron in other places too.

All chests are randomly filled with items. However, certain chests are filled with better items than others. Each of these chests are branded either tier 1 or tier 2.

The most basic kind of chest is called a tier 1 chest, and in it could by any number of things. In tier 1 chests there can be any combination of items such as leather armor, single ingots, wooden sword or stone sword, fishing rods, raw food, sticks, string, and bows.

In tier 2, the chests can have any number of combination of items, yet, these items are superior to items found in tier 1. In tier 2 chests possible discoveries will consist of cake, cooked food, stone sword, iron armor, gold armor, chain armor, diamond(s), shears, single ingots, maps, composes, and clocks. For example all the chest in corn (the spawn on any map) are tier 2. Yet, in other places, usually tier 2s are harder to get to.

Hope this solves your question. So you can get armor in other places, either leather, (which you will not find in corn) or if tier 2, iron.
