The one example that you have on your website is decent enough, but you should really create and post more examples on the thread.
As it is, it's not very convincing - You could have taken that avatar from somewhere else, for all we know. And the quality of work isn't entirely worth $5 - while there may be some people willing to drop that amount, you have neither the reputation nor the lack of competition to make it suitable. There are other avatar-makers who do similar images for less.
