Yo.
So, I was playing FIFA and not getting the best luck. (If luck is a thing) And I noticed one thing. I was getting really angry, and frustrated. Now, the emotion anger isn't a good thing. At all. So that's when *ding ding ding* thread idea came into my head.
Why do we get angry at video games? Well, there's multiple reasons why. This also depends on the game your playing, and the situation you're in.
1) You're put at a disadvantage. MCSG is a perfect example! Teams. You're playing solo, doing good. Then you have to fight a team. 2v1. If you die to the team, you get angry. You feel like it isn't fair at all, you think that you could beat them 1v1 easy. But because it was a 2v1, you lost.
2) You play with the mindset that you're gonna win every time. I'm sorry, but you're not gonna win every time. I read on reddit somewhere that if you play thinking your gonna win, you're not going to improve. Anyhow, you want to win, but you lose. You're angry that you lost, simple as that really
3 You're time has been wasted. This is in literally any multiplayer game that has player versus player in it. You played the game, and you lost. Therefore, you feel like the game wasted your time.
4) You're competitive. It's who you are. You don't like loosing, so when you lose. You get angry.
Those are just a couple reasons why people get mad at video games. So, how do you not get angry? Well there's multiple ways to go about this. The easiest is, play the game to have fun! That's what video games were made for! (I think) Have fun! Who cares if you die? There's always next game! A good way to do this is just messing around. You can also play with friends! Playing with friends is usually fun! Also, if you're not going to do either, just listen to some music. I find music calms me down, and keeps me relaxed.
So, I really hope I didn't bore you to death! If I did, please don't call the cops on me! Thanks.
Also, on a completely unrelated note. Writing this on a surface tablet is the worst thing I ever did in my life! Imagine typing a letter, to have it load 5 seconds later. Oh so bad. :/
