An unban idea

There are/were some incidents where people were falsely accused of mods like BSM... so if you get banned, and the mods refuse to accept the evidence, you will have to switch servers

I guess I just don't understand bans here well enough to come up with a system like this.
I was just wondering what you guys think about the idea.

Yeah it complex, being in the community for around a year helps...
However the idea was good, and keep up the good work!

I think a good idea is pay to remove past bans, so say you were banned for abuse >.> You could pay to remove that from your ban record?

It gives MCSG a bad look. You do the crime you do the time. If people can pay to be unbanned, it's like bribing the prison guard to let you out.

We actually toyed with this idea months ago, apart from instead of having the money go to the servers/MCSG, we were thinking of giving it to charity (temp bans only, perm bans stay banned no matter what). Think of it as doing good to counter your bad actions.

But I guess the idea was scrapped.

Oh hell no. If a hacker gets banned they stay banned. If someone creates a fake report in hopes of getting another user get banned they stay banned. This keeps our community more polished and gets rid of some of the lower elements.
