With a flash of darkness, than light, I was here. Where here was? I had no clue, but I knew it was either my imminent death or a place I would come out of with riches and honour. My heart was beating to the countdown. The horn was going to sound, I was frozen.
*blarp* (lol)
I stood like a dear caught in the headlights on my podium as tributes grabbed weapons, armour and food from the cornucopia. I turned around and ran away. I must have been running for at least 100 blocks. I was near the glass shield from the outside world. Chests. I had to find chests. They were my only hope of survival, the only hope of getting sponsors and being able to defend myself from other tributes.
I ran through the thick forest looking everywhere, desperately, for chests. I was getting hungry, and could not run anymore. Then out of the corner of my eye, I found a dead tribute's items on the ground. I looked up, and there before me stood the tallest and grandest tree I could imagine. It stretched high above the clouds and I could just make out a figure in shining armour standing at the top.
He would be coming down soon, so I quickly picked up the loot. In the distance I faintly saw a house. I put on my armour and readied my weapons, ate as much food as I could and began my journey to the house.
I was very close to the house when I heard voices. I froze and crouched behind a shrub. It must be a team. They were banging clattering and roaring in a familiar in-humane fashion. I realised these were not an ordinary team. They were baccas.
"dood lets split up n fin ppl to kill, den we cn sey gg 2ez" One said very loudly.
"course dood, i tink i saw on in da shubs ner hear", Another said,"ill go chk it owt"
I tried to stay calm, but this was going to be my first ever time with a sword. The Baccas sounded like they had been doing this for a while. The stomp of the Bacca's feet were getting louder and more obnoxious. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, only to open them to a pair of treacherous eyes.
