There are rules regarding clans and moderating at the same time. I'd ask a Sr. Staff about those just in case. I'm not entirely sure at them, as I don't have any interest in clans.

If you're referring to ban history, it is often harder to become a moderator if you have a history of offenses. However, if you have made a successful ban dispute, then that can be linked in the application so that they know.
