Well, apparently a comment from Makaramoto from 5 months ago says the map was hosted in MCSG. It makes sense since this map was on the PMC competition MCSG hosted.

From the PMC competition this were the map winners:

1. The fallen colossi (http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/the-fallen-colossi-games-survival-games-entry-2178608/)
2. Avaricia (http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/no-name-survival-games-arena-contest/)
3. Destiny's Shiver (http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/destinys-shiver-survival-games-contest/)

there was 461 map submissions. There was WAY better maps than the 3 winners.

In fact, after those 3 maps, maps like Boombeards battle and Icarus made it to MCSG. Around half a year later.

Honestly, this map should of placed in the Top 3 or Top 10 at least. It is so much better than Fallen Colossi and Destinys Shiver, those maps are nice to ''look at'' not gameplay.

Well you have to know the PMC community. They tend to diamond stuff based on how massive, large scale, and epic something looks. most of them probably are not SG players and don't know what would be good for PvP and fun to play on, they just like what looks cool.
