Yeah I know this is OT but what's with all the advertising threads?

they are bots, my guess from outside people or possibly other sites trying to either slip some free profit from other sites or get i some free advertising

It's an issue with the forum host XenForo. You can help us out by "Reporting" the threads with the reason of "Spam."
