Add Gifs on your profile picture?

I was just wondering if there was anyway that maybe the staff could add gifs to be able to be used on your profile picture on the forums, It seems like a great idea. I saw it on the Hive forums and I thought that it seemed pretty cool and should be added to MCSG.

Please post opinions below if you think it should be added.​

It is basically a sequence of low resolution images played over and over again to form a short animation.

I don't think it's possible with XenForo, but it would be a cool feature.

I think I've seen a friend of mine try a GIF in the forums here a while back. However, it lasted temporarily, as they've obviously changed the profile picture. Also, I've only seen it work within their profile page, I suppose you can give it a shot, but I'm not entirely so sure that it may work.
