About the lag

Myself and my friend have been about to win about 3 or 4 times and the server keeps cutting out, just 5 minutes ago we were on the server #11 with 4 people left and all decked out and the server starts lagging to crap, then everyone gets disconnected.

I was wondering as to if the issue was known and was is being sorted out, it is rather annoying.
