This isn't going in the guides section simply because these are tips, not guides.
- Download maps off the website and explore them, this way you can make routes without dying!
- Make Routes. A Good route consists of at least 8 chests.
- Avoid the Corn. There is plenty of Tier 2 chests out of there, Plus it is risky on certain maps.
- Make teams, and then betray them. (Optional)
- Go to the refill at night. With Eight Tier 2 chests packed directly at the center of the Cornucopia, it can be risky. But if you get a chance, Go for it! It almosts gurantee's a win on most maps! However, remember that it can result in your death if your not careful. Check if there is any teams or other tributes at the Cornucopia first, if not, return to the route you used at the beggining of the games.
- At deathmatch, always be the last man to fight. Run away from the battle as quickly as you can, and stay as far away as you can from the tributes.
- There is also another Refill at noon of Day 2, if the games last long enough, go for it too.
- If you have no routes, or simply have nothing at all, stalk powerful tributes and usually when they kill someone they will drop useless stuff. (Useless things to them can be swords, bows, armor, or even iron at some cases.)
